  • Customers on all price plans except the Pay as you Go/PAYG price plan, will receive SMS alerts to their Optus Mobile when they reach 80% and 100% of their monthly data limit.

  • Service uses customers handset as modem device. Customer must have post-paid Mobile Service with Optus and the mobile must be capable of GPRS and/or 3G/HSDPA data transfer
  • The availability referred to corresponds to the Optus Mobile 3G/HSDPA network where the service can obtain broadband speeds.
  • Where the Optus Mobile 3G/HSDPA network is unavailable service will use the Optus GSM network for coverage, at slower GPRS data rates.
  • The Optus Coverage Satisfaction Guarantee applies to this service which allows a customer for up to 30 days from the date of activation of your service to call Optus Customer Care and they are free to leave the Mobile Internet service. No Optus cancellation fees apply, however data used and access fee/s for the period the service was used for will be payable. Cancellation fees will apply outside this Coverage Satisfaction Guarantee. Optus Coverage Satisfaction Guarantee is only available to the Optus GSM and 3G/HSDPA Networks. Optus Coverage Satisfaction Guarantee is a special promotion valid until 31 June 2008 unless withdrawn earlier.
